While some students look forward to Spring Break, others know they will miss out on meals. During Spring Break, gather friends and family and serve together. Help make a difference!

Brother Bill’s Helping Hands-Dallas

Grocery Store Attendants: Assist restocking and organizing to help clients shop for their groceries.

  • Mondays: Restocking Grocery Store-- 9:30AM- 12PM

  • Wednesdays:

    • Grocery Store-- 10AM- 1PM

    • Restocking Grocery Store-- 1:30PM- 3:30PM

  • Thursdays: Grocery Store-- 10AM- 1PM

CCA- Lewisville

Weekdays Food Pantry: Help families "shop" for their groceries and other essentials to ensure they have food at the table.

  • Monday- Thursday

    • 8AM- 8PM (2 hour shifts)

  • Friday

    • 8AM- 5PM

  • 12-15 years of age must have adult supervision

Christ’s Haven- Keller

Food Pantry: Help sort, label and organize the campus food pantry and help house parents plan their family meals with ease.

  • Saturday: March 9th

  • 8:45AM- 11AM

  • Children over 5 years of age welcome with adult supervision

Store Attendant/Stocker: Help sort and organize shelves and cold storage for families in need

Help feed the homeless of Dallas. It is a chance to rally around them and give them hope.

**We have 2 different events you can sign up to give back.

Tarrant Area Food Bank

Spring Break Quality Control: Help sort, inspect and repackage food products for distribution to a network of partner organizations in a 13-count county area.

  • March 12th and March 14th

    • 1PM- 4PM

    • 6PM- 9PM

  • March 13th and March 15th

    • 1PM- 4PM

  • March 16th

    • 10AM- 1PM and 2PM- 5PM

  • Children 12-15 years of age welcome with adult supervision

Taste Project- Fort Worth

Taste Bud Opportunities: Help fight food insecurity in Fort Worth by helping the Taste Project staff welcome the community for meals. 

  • Sunday and Tuesday-Saturday (Closed on Monday)

  • 9AM- 3PM  (3 hour shifts)

  • Areas to serve: Welcome Team, Service Team and Kitchen Team

The Net- South Fort Worth

Monthly Play Dates: Once a month we spend time with refugee children who are part of the discipleship program. It is a time of games, fun and investing in them as they work through their permanent home situation.

  • Saturday, March 16th

  • 10:45AM- 12:30PM (10-15 min brief/orientation)

Help make Spring Break a time where at-risk children can enjoy educational activities and a hot meal. It is a time where you can give back and show them they matter.
