Holiday Food Pantry: Help families prepare for Thanksgiving by helping stock the pantry, help families “shop” for groceries and help them to their car 

  • Monday- Friday: 8AM- 4PM (2 hour shifts)

    *Month of November: Closed Nov 28th and Nov 29th

    *Month of December: Closed Dec 25th and Dec 28th


  • Saturdays: 8AM- 2PM (2 hour shifts)

    *Month of November: Closed Nov 28th and Nov 29th

    *Month of December: Closed Dec 25th and Dec 28th

Volunteer: Assist with Homeless Birthday Parties

Fort Worth, TX

We believe that the intentional building of relationships helps to restore the well-being of a person and so do our friends at The Net.

Volunteers needed to help host a birthday party for all of the street families whose birthdays are in that particular month. You will share a meal, spend time celebrating each person, and eat birthday cake! This a time to build true friendships with folks in the homeless community.

Volunteer: Resale Outlet Assistance

Keller, TX

We believe education gives children the tools to fight poverty and prevent disease. Community Storehouse shares this belief with us.

The Outlet helps Community Storehouse with their different programs throughout the year.  Volunteers will be helping with set up displays, assist customers, and assist staff with merchandise.

As families experience a little more stress with the holidays approaching, we are asking volunteers to help with the Thanksgiving Food Drive.

Corn

Cranberry Sauce

Stuffing

Instant Mashed Potatoes

Mac & Cheese

Volunteer: Holiday Kitchen Support-Food Prep

Denton, TX

We believe that every child should have enough food to live an active and healthy life. Our friends at Our Daily Bread share this belief with us!

As the Holiday season approaches, there is a need in the kitchen to help provide meals to Denton residents in need.  You will help prepare food items to be served to families, storing food in pantry and refrigerator and assist with general cleaning.

Note: New Volunteer Orientation (Mandatory for all new volunteers. Can be completed same day of volunteering if schedules permit)

*Tuesdays and Saturdays 
*8:15AM- 8:45AM

Kitchen Support-Food Prep Days

    • Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (Days not available: Fridays, Nov 15th and Thursday, Nov 28th) 

    • 9:30AM- 1:30PM

Dress Code:

  • Short sleeve shirts preferred
  • Hair pulled back (off face due to scraping and rinsing)
  • Closed toe shoes

Volunteer: Food Donation Pickups

Denton, TX

We believe that every child should have access to safe water and we believe children should have enough food to live an active and healthy life. Our friends at Our Daily Bread share this belief with us.

Volunteers needed to help pick up donated goods from local businesses

Days: Monday

Times:

*7:30 AM- 10 AM

*8AM- 9:30AM

*9AM- 12PM

Join our Team Drivers to transport food donations from local businesses.

Drivers must meet these requirements:

  • Own a pickup or SUV
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Available one day a week or twice monthly

This is a great service opportunity for church groups or organizations who would like to alternate the duties.  Will you help in making sure that no one in our community goes hungry?

Volunteer: Holiday Food Drive

DFW Metroplex

We believe that every child should have enough food to live an active and healthy life.

We work alongside local non-profits who provide food for at-risk children within DFW. The need in our communities to help fight hunger is huge; however, it is also a simple need to fill.

Will you join us in conducting a food drive in your community? The food drive will benefit at-risk children who need it.

Volunteer: Store Attendant/ Donation Center Assistance

Haltom City, TX

We believe that every child should have access to safe water and children should have enough food to live an active and healthy life. And so do our friends at The Joseph Storehouse.

Volunteers are needed to help with areas such as: sorting through donations, stocking shelves, running the cash registers, pricing items, unloading shipments, etc.

There is something for all to help with. That includes children and families of any size. There is something for everyone here!

Volunteer: Admin Assistance, Client Advocate

Keller, TX

We believe every child should be secure and loved, and that includes unborn children as well. Pregnancy Help 4 U shares this belief with us!

There are many administrative things required to seeing this mission carried out. That is where volunteers come in!

*Client Advocate (Perform client intake, pregnancy test, counseling and follow-up)

*Administrative (Receptionist duties for counseling and sonogram clinic)

*Community Service (cleaning office, mail out prep, making copies, bundling diapers)

*Website Maintenance (periodically update and edit client and donor sites)

*Tech Support (assist staff and volunteers with IT related issues)

Days and Times:

Monday and Thursday: 10AM- 6PM

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 10AM- 4PM

Volunteer: Monthly Playdates

Fort Worth, TX

We believe that every child should feel safe and secure and so do our friends at The Net.

Volunteers are needed to come hang out with all the children at a partnering apartment complex that is predominately refugees. You will play games, do crafts, and just have fun!

Join us for the last playdate of the year!
