A couple of weeks ago, SOS International Worship launched its debut album, “Holy Hope” We hope this album has been a blessing to you! This album was made in partnership with amazing artists who offered their time, talent, and influence to join us in releasing songs of hope and freedom over the lives of those trapped in slavery. What makes this album even more remarkable is that all the royalties from streaming go to securing the lives of trafficking victims!
Here is what some staff members say about the album and their favorite songs.
Ellen D. – My Rightful Place
“My Rightful Place” is so good! I love how empowering this song is. It reminds whoever is singing it that we have the strength, guidance, and love from the strongest, kindest, most caring, one and only God. My Favorite part of the song is:
“No height, no depth, no pain can separate me from your love. No lie, no power, no shame will ever hold me back again. Now that I know your grace, I am a child of God I take my rightful place”
Daniella H. – Holy
“Holy” is one of those songs you can listen to on repeat and never get tired of. The words are exactly what worship should be – all about God. Instrumentally, it’s beautifully written, and it is as if I can feel the drums in my heart when I listen to it. Feeling a song in the depth of my soul helps me engage with it, and “Holy” does that!
Javier P. – Praise
“Praise” has got to be my favorite song. I’m a big fan of gospel music and the artistry of bands that play gospel. This song feels like a gospel song you’d hear on a Sunday morning. It feels like home to me. Lyrically, I love how the entire song feels like an invitation to a group to praise God for who He is – a Father and defender. I think that is a powerful declaration over the lives of those who have been trafficked and need healing.
I’m sure I’ll also have a favorite on the upcoming Spanish album. I’m looking forward to what will be on that album as well!
Leslie W. – Forever Yes
“Forever Yes” resounds with what Dwayne and I – and our family have tried to live by. When we feel prompted, we want to say yes – even if it seems impossible or hard, even if we are afraid – and say yes to where God leads.
Dwayne W. – Forever Yes
For me, it’s “Forever Yes”. I think saying yes to God is the secret to Life. I have so many friends now in a later stage of life who are each touching so many lives with their influence and ministries. The common characteristic I’ve identified in them all is that they all say yes to whatever God wants to do. The lyrics that impact me from this song are
“Yes to your Presence, Yes to your Will. I say yes to your power, God, send me. To the Broken, to the lost, I say yes!”
Powerful words right there! Words to build a life of impact and transformation on.
Another reason why I like “Forever Yes” so much is because it’s in English and Spanish. We need more cross-language collaboration in the Body of Christ. I love the unity of it. I love the inclusion of it. We all have the same call; we all have the same mandate. We have more in common than we think and should celebrate and embrace that diversity. It will be like this around the Throne of God. Every young tribe and Nation! I love Forever Yes because it’s a glimpse of Eternity!
We hope you continue to enjoy Holy Hope wherever you listen to your music. If you haven’t streamed the album yet, click below to listen!
