Role Overview

SOS International is dedicated to creating sustainable solutions for at-risk children
and rallying communities to take action. The Warehouse Coordinator is a key
driver of this mission, managing daily warehouse logistics and ensuring the timely
delivery of resources to our local care network partners. This is a full-time position
requiring a balance of operational efficiency, safe driving, and high-level team
collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and highly organized
warehouse environment. Oversee the sorting, packaging, and preparation
of donations according to established procedures.
Inventory & Data Management: Ensure inventory is turned over in a
timely manner. Ensure the Gifts In Kind database is updated accurately
and in real-time. Manage all delivery documentation, including partner
confirmations and signatures.
Logistics & Delivery: Safely operate the organization’s delivery vehicle to
transport donations to community partners. This includes the efficient
loading, securing, and unloading of goods while strictly adhering to DOT
regulations and traffic laws.
Team Supervision: Guide and oversee warehouse associates to ensure
all daily tasks and projects are completed safely and effectively.
Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular safety checks and maintain the
cleanliness and preventative maintenance schedule of the delivery vehicle.
Collaborative Support: Assist the Community Outreach Lead with
service projects and support donors and partners with onsite
loading/unloading.

Qualifications & Requirements

Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift and maneuver a minimum of
50 lbs on a regular basis.
Driving Credentials: A valid driver’s license and a consistently clean
driving record are mandatory.
Technical Experience: Proficient in operating warehouse equipment,
such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
Digital Literacy: Basic proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Gmail)
and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
are essential for building relationships with donors, staff, and volunteers.

Position Details

Classification: Full-time
Reporting: Reports directly to the Community Outreach Lead (with
oversight from the Director of Community Outreach).
Schedule: Requires a flexible mindset and a commitment to punctual
attendance.
